2024年7月11日、久石譲によるスタジオジブリ宮崎駿監督作品演奏会がアメリカ・ニューヨークにて開催決定！
2017年6月パリ世界初演、「久石譲 in パリ -「風の谷のナウシカ」から「風立ちぬ」まで 宮崎駿監督作品演奏会-」（NHK BS）TV放送されたことでも話題になりました。
1984年公開の「風の谷のナウシカ」から2013年公開の「風立ちぬ」まで、宮崎駿監督と久石譲コンビが手がけた全10作品の音楽を演奏するスペシャルなジブリ・スクリーンコンサート。巨大スクリーンに映し出される映画の名シーンと共に奏でられるオーケストラの迫力の音楽。指揮・ピアノはもちろん久石譲、共演オーケストラは 。
ワールドツアーとして世界各国をめぐるジブリ・コンサート、パリ（2017.6）メルボルン（2018.4）サンノゼ（2018.5）ロサンゼルス（2018.9）ニューヨーク（2018.11）ブリュッセル（2019.2）リヨン（2019.2）プラハ（2019.5）メルボルン（2020.2）シアトル（2020.4）ストックホルム（2020.6）ニューヨーク（2022.8）リール（2022.10）ナント（2022.10）ボルドー（2022.10）ワシントンDC（2023.7）ロンドン（2023.9）ラ・デファンス（2024.4予定）デュッセルドルフ（2024.5予定）ミュンヘン（2024.5予定）につづいて第20回開催地として選ばれたニューヨーク。待ち焦がれた聴衆を感動の渦に巻き込みます。
ニューヨーク公演は、2022年8月ラジオシティ・ミュージックホールでの5days公演以来2度目となります。
